my name is Steve
and I am an alcoholic
I am grateful to be able to be celebrating 20 years sobriety with you to
I wish I had great words of wisdom, but basically
I am just another drunk
I'm grateful to be growing
I am grateful I am no longer alone
I am grateful that I have tools to deal with whatever comes my way
I'm grateful for all the love
for new way of life
and most of all
for being sober
