Steve's Story

Hi Family i'm steve and i'm so so grateful to be an alcoholic tonite

i cant have a birthday without looking thru the years

and by the way congrats to all the celebrants tonite we are all miracles i'm not supposed to be here tonite, i'm supposed to be dead once in a car wreck on my last drunk
and a month later by my own hand when me and my friend
alcohol decide 5 bullets in a 6 shooter was the best way to end the pain spun the cylinder and the dang thing went click

now the engineer here can tell you that there was an 84 % chance of the bullet coming up, steve the AA member will tell you there was a 100% chance of my Higher power saying NO

not now Steve ....not this way
course i didn't believe in Him/Her then
but He/She believed in me

this year has had ups and downs
one of the BIG UPS was finding these rooms and another one in March never thought i could "do" online AA
was wrong never thought it could help anyone
was wrong never thought i could make life time friends in here
was wrong so thank you for a blessing i never expected
and happy bday to all of us i truely Luv you guys
