I'm Patricia, deaf alcoholic here from Vermont my date of sobriety is November 3rd, 2004

so grateful to be still here sober since how did I do it?

its because of this room, my 32 years sponsor Jackie, my weekly bb mtgs on fri nights, step mtgs on wed afternoons,

women's mtg on tues early evenings, and my favy discussion mtg with the newcomers/relapsers in my town..

and full time job... that keeps me busy and humble... well most of the times, no I aint perfect lol but

I do lead a quiet and humble life still staying away from old drinking buddies

really I live in a simple life

my daughter still kept saying how on earth that I still have this willpower today away from alcohol

i didn't have the answer for her guess I was just so ready to give up alcohol after 30some years drinking

and I listened to all of you which is most important to me

and discovered my HP in 9 months later after I became sober...so I'm at peace and happy today..

even I still read a page over and over on each day with the big book and the 12 & 12 to this date...if I have any

problems, I just called my sponsor whom's my best friend nowadays..I don't know what Id do if it weren't for her

today. if you dont have a sponsor, get one! I didn't know my sponsor day one I asked her, and I'm so grateful for her in
