Mary's Story

I'm here Mary 18 years I think that what I hears was a lot of gratitude from everyone and i can definately relate I can not think of enough words to express my gratitude for AA and what it has given me When I got here I was empty, broken, alone, frightened.. and did not think that much would change... maybe I would stay sober but... get happy, serene, peaceful no way I did not come to get to get spiritual, find an HP of become virtuous But... I got way more than I ever could of imagined.. I did become spiritual I did get serenity I did learn to trust someone beside my self I did gain the fellowship and friendship of many others like me I didn't think anyone was like me I could continue the list on and on All this was as a result of working the steps and trusting God
