hey everyone I am the alkie Kimi

I had a pretty tough life since I was born

i remember being

cold

beaten

molested daily

my life and that of my family threatened to keep my mouth shut

no bible in the house

what a comfort that would have been

physical damage from the molesting that made it impossible to attend school

when my ma finally insisted on me getting medical care she was beaten till we thought she was dead

us 4 girls went out

each taking an arm or leg and dragged her in the house

thank god she lived

as i became a young adult i began to seek out abusive relationships with men

in my sick mind trying to resolve issues with my father

I am permanently crippled from domestic violence

why am I tell you all this

because

it left me so afraid of people

that i was unable to attend f2f

I came here

and was told I would fail

if I didn't go

so I tried

I was found in the parking lot

mini stroke

I see others come in here and be told the same

my heart breaks

I just want to say

when someone new comes in

listen to their pain

don't push them till you push them away

pain is pain

we all know what pain is

so whoever you are

what ever you are going through

remember there is always hope

and a few words of kindness and understanding

can sure go a long way

a few people here understood me

and didn't push

I hadn't left my house for 5 years

but after gradually building a few relationships here

where I felt a little more safe

I began to be able to go out

and talk to others
