hi kenny g an alkie

i came in before andrew hit south florida

they thought the world was coming to and end

i had to evacuate my apt

i just moved to florida and didn't know the way but i found the high school

there was so much drinking and drugging

i had to make a decision so i did my third step there

stayed sober ever since

before i came to aa i was a basket case

i am dual diagnosed my meds were always maxed out

today its quite different

anyhow last yr Wilma hit her

i was without electric for one week i was fortunate

the building was hit by a tornado

i had to go to the closet and protect myself

i think aa has taught me to be a survivor

today i am recording sec for my district

not a basket anymore but a productive member of aa

anyhow i owe my life to aa and today i have one thanks to u all online

i go to these meetings because i'm handicapped and it is a tool i use to stay sober
