Joannie's Story

Hi Folks, Joannie here an Alkie for sure...........
Five years was unconceivable for me.  I don't think I did ANYTHING for five consecutive years in a row except drink and I did that GOOD.  

I remember so well walking into the room and being scared out of my wits.  I saw a friend of mine and it shocked me.

I asked her what she was doing there.........duhhhhhh
she said, "Same thing you are Joannie."  ooops
Then they called her name and she got her five yr coin that night.  I was IMPRESSED and also knew I would never make that milestone.  It seemed like forever
so I set my goal on two days and I made it ..............
and then thought utoh its the weekend and I slipped...... and so it went for almost two years.   

But I am a stubborn brat and kept coming back like I was told to.  I was going to prove to you that YOUR program wouldn't work for this drunk.

I am thrilled to say you proved me wrong, This birthday was that unobtainable milestone and it felt GREAT.
Now I think I just may make five years and one month.....Never again will I take this program for 
granted.    It works if we work it and this is one time I love my job.
